Good Evening 5th Grade Families,

I am Mrs. Barnes, the beginning band director at Central Middle School, and I wanted to take a moment to say what an absolute pleasure it has been to get to know each and every one of your children over the last week. Mr. Freeland, the CMS Band Director, and I were able to visit each elementary school and have students try a few of the instruments to find their best fit. A certificate and information should have come home with your child, and hopefully you've had the chance to go through it all!

Just in case this information did not make it to you, I have included it on this email. Our registration nights will be Wednesday, September 10th and Friday, September 12th. Both evenings will have sessions at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m., and you will only need to attend one session.

Both of us directors were simply amazed at how excited, enthusiastic, and talented this 5th grade class is, and we sincerely hope you all will consider joining our band program. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns, we are more than happy to help.
